Contemporary orchestral piece with a cartoonish side. You know when you wake up, and everything seems OK until you look at the clock? Panic sets in as you hurry to catch up, with too much to do in not enough time. Here it is in musical form - bright, spritely passages followed by startling realisation and fast paced xylophone and string runs, all mixed up with a sense of urgency in a dramatic and dynamic composition featuring the whole orchestra.

Mid paced, but lively thanks to the main piano theme that repeats within the orchestra, it builds calmly throughout the first half until it breaks into a more string focused piece, where the solo legato violin plays over marcato string shorts and high piano accents. An emotional and tender piece - light and innocent with a touch of curiosity.

Enchanting and ominous in equal measure, it's a piece full of grandeur with choral melodies accompanied by ever progressing string and brass themes to build to a fulfilling climax. Gentle and lilting only for the start and short ending, the more prominent mood is tension and ever increasing intensity.

A fun orchestral track for the Christmas period. Striking a triumphant mood, it remains light through the instrumentation, using glockenspiel as the lead melody maker supported by string shorts. Not to say it can't generate a level of epic befitting the holidays though - marching snare drum and faster string ostinato drive the piece forward, harp glissandi add fantasy elements, and a choir backing lifts the whole piece to a wholesome and fulfilling finale. Playful and festive.

Spanning the full orchestra, expect ostinato strings, woodwind flourishes, brass fanfares and epic impacts, combining to give a thrilling rollercoaster ride of adrenaline and blockbuster action. Very heroic, a little bit menacing and not at all shy - it's in your face, balls out exhilaration.

A soft, lilting orchestral track. Shades of mystery and discovery are evoked by the dark, mellow ethnic flute backed up by whistful, melancholic cello and oboe leads. A good underlying movement is created by soft percussion, string shorts and rolling arpeggiated piano as well as the phrasing of the music to create a piece of magical serenity, wonder and reassurance.

What starts as reflective and fragile transforms into an uplifting, romantic and joyous piece.

Starting simply with a calm piano intro, backed by soothing strings, the piece soon becomes expansive and fluid, with a tight rhythm section, fast repeating violin motifs and contrasting sweeping legato strings. The introduction of brass shadows the punch of the string shorts before backing off to reset the calm, chilled mood of the intro, as it again builds on the main theme until its short and sweet piano/trumpet ending.
